Art poses questions. To explain contemporary art to each visitor has been one of the Deutsche Bank Kunsthalle’s declared goals from the very beginning. We aim to transport the themes of each exhibition to a broad range of visitors though a program of guided tours tailored to individual groups and broad in scope.
The daily lecture at 6 p.m. offers visitors an impromptu peek behind the art historical stage of each current exhibition. In addition, every Monday between 11 a.m. and 8 p.m., in short tours called “I like Mondays,” young students of art history answer spontaneous questions concerning the exhibition. The Lunch Lectures program every Wednesday at 1 p.m. invites visitors to the Deutsche Bank KunstHalle to enjoy art and cuisine on their lunch break.
Museum visitors with special needs have unique requirements when it comes to experiencing contemporary art. The Deutsche Bank KunstHalle, in cooperation with members’ associations, has developed concepts for guided tours that are tailored exclusively to the needs of hearing and visually impaired visitors. These tours are offered on a regular basis at each exhibition for both children and adults.
